Afternoon,
We’ve basketed the birds this morning for they’re first trainer from Rothes 14 mile, weather is near perfect with broken blue sky and around 22°c and light to moderate south east wind
We plan to liberate at 2:30pm, I’m fitting the camera back into the main loft so that we can go live and show them arriving so look out for that, every bird was individually handled and scanned and none of us can pick a fault with any of them so more than happy they’ve every chance
We’ve decided to stick with the one out all about approach to liberating to keep things totally fair throughout, I personally think if they can get a bit of hight leaving the lib sight they’ll do ok, my biggest worry will be low hanging wires which seem to be our biggest hazard on our line of flight
I’ve also recalculated the distances for Rothes due to where we now liberate them from and from lib site to loft it reads 14 mile, Benzing will be updated before liberation and I’ll post up the revised prize fund for this years youngster series later tonight 👍
